Springfield, Mo. (July 16, 2024) – Last week, Outdoor TeamWorks was proud to announce the re-introduction of the Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Inshore Fishing Association presented by Progressive in 2024. Inshore anglers will have the opportunity to fish for lots of great cash and prizes at this year’s tournament based out the Bass Pro Shops in Tampa Bay, FL on August 17th & 18th. The re-introduced IFA tournaments will consist of a catch-photo-release video format using the eTournament Fishing App. and Anglers of all ages will be able to compete. The three divisions in the IFA tournament will consist of “Adult”, “Youth”, and “Kayak”.
The entry fee will be $125 per participant and anglers will be competing to catch and record the biggest Redfish and Speckled Trout. The participant that catches and records the biggest Redfish and Speckled Trout, recording the biggest combined length, will be declared the overall champion. Additional cash and prizes will be awarded to 2nd – 25th overall. Awards will be given for 1st through 3rd place for each division, plus for overall big fish for each species. Registration will be open until 11:59pm (EDT) Friday August 9th. Those who register will be required to attend the in-person sign-in at the Bass Pro Shops in Tampa Bay, FL from 3-6pm also on Friday, August 16th.
