Calling All Inshore Anglers, Inshore Fishing Association is Back in 2025 and Headed to Three Locations in Florida!

Springfield, Mo. (June 9th, 2025) – The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Inshore Fishing Association presented by Progressive is proud to announce it’s 2025 schedule which includes three stops in Florida, more opportunities to win and a new team of the year season long race for both boaters and kayakers .

The IFA Tournament schedule will expand to three tournaments in 2025, and the schedule is as follows:

 

·      July 19th  – Tampa, FL

·      September 20th – St Augustine, FL – Berkley Baits Exclusive Event

·      October 18th – Islamorada, FL

 

For 2025, the IFA is also excited to announce the expansion of the tournament format with three divisions of competition: Team, Kayak, and Kid’s Divisions. The Team Division will be a team tournament style format where teams of two anglers will be allowed to compete together. The Kayak and Kid’s division will remain as a single angler category. The Kid’s Division is open for all kids under the age of 16, and each participant will be required to fish with an adult. Anglers fishing in the Team Division that wish to fish with another contestant under the age of 16, will not be allowed enter both the Kid’s and Team’s Division.

 

Tournaments in 2025 will be one a day tournament and will be a Catch-Record-Release format utilizing the E-Tournament Fishing App, introduced for the first time last year into the IFA event format.

Judging of the tournament will be based on anglers submitting the largest Redfish, Snook, and Speckled Trout. The angler submitting the largest combined measurements of each species in each category will be declared the IFA tournament champion in each respected category.

 

Cash and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category, with additional prizes awarded to the anglers catching and recording the largest fish of each species.

Finally, IFA is proud to announce an Angler of the Year incentive for those competing in all three IFA tournaments in the Team and Kayak Divisions. Points will be accumulated and the highest finishing participant at the end of the tour will be declared the Angler of the Year in each category. The Angler of the Year winner in the Team division will walk away with a brand new 2025 Mako 18 LTS valued at $34,995. The Kayak Division Angler of the Year will go home with a brand new ASCEND 133X Tournament Yak-Power Sit-On kayak valued at $1,100 plus a $1,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card.

 

Entry fees per tournament will be $300 for the Team Division and $250 for the Kayak Division. Anglers that register and commit to fish all three IFA events before July 14th will save $50 per event.  Kids fishing division will be $125 entry fee per event.
