Teams Must Be Registered to Be Able to Practice on Friday
SPRINGFIELD, MO (February 24, 2026) — Registration for the 2026 Bass Pro Shops Texas Team Trail (TXTT) presented by Progressive is still open! This iconic fishery is known for big bags early in the season, and this year’s opener could be one of the best yet with weather conditions being perfect this weekend. There is still time to register for the event so that your team can practice on Friday and compete on Saturday. For those teams not wanting to practice on Friday, they can walk up and pay on-site on Friday between 3:00-6:00 PM.
Mandatory onsite check-in for all teams will take place Friday, February 27 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cypress Bend Park Pavilion. Competition begins Saturday morning and will set the tone for what promises to be another competitive TXTT event! This event also allows teams to earn points for the season-ending Championship on Lake Palestine where the top 100 teams in the season-long points race will be featured.
Teams are encouraged to register online prior to arrival to secure their entry and streamline check-in.
This season’s Bass Pro Shops Texas Team Trail (TXTT) presented by Progressive boasts stacked payouts and strong prize incentives to make every event worth fishing. The first place team this weekend will take home a 2026 Ranger Z18 powered by a Mercury 150 Pro XS. In addition to the regular purse, teams can take home significant contingency rewards from partners such as Nitro, Ranger, and Garmin.
