Springfield, MO (Sept. 3, 2024) – The 2024 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive season will be one that no angler will ever forget. From the start of the season at Sam Rayburn being won by the very first team to weigh in at the event, to the 2024 Progressive Team of the Year winners losing their boat keys on the final day of the championship event on Toledo Bend, to always changing water conditions there was a lot of fun fishing challenges that unfolded as well as a lot of Texas giants coming across the weigh in stage..
Looking back Garmin anglers Brian Schott & Jim Smith secured the 2024 Progressive Team of the Year honors after earning 1069 points during the season while cashing a check in every regular season event. For their consistency. the team walked away with a Ranger Z518 powered by a Mercury 150 Pro XS motor. Additionally, they will receive free entry fees into the 2025 season and Bass Pro Shops Guidewear suits. Former Bassmaster Classic qualifier Jeff Reynolds and his partner this year Shane Howell finished the season in second place for the Progressive Team of the Year and they will also get free entries into 2025 as well as other prizes thanks to the robust Texas Team Trail Team of the Year program. The entire season saw new anglers coming from several states to compete, awarding over $12,000 in contingency bonuses, and three tournaments taking over a 30-pound limits to take the win.

- Ranger, Nitro, and Triton Owners Registration: January 1st – 10th, 2025
- All Teams Registration: Monday, January 13th, 2025
Back again for 2025 is a program that the Texas Team Trail announced in 2024 that rewards ALL Nitro, Ranger, and Triton owners. No matter what year model of White River Marine Group boat brand, if a team’s captain and their partner register during the first week of registration and pays for all of the regular season events (4 events), teams will be able to pay a special rate of $225 per event. This is a $200 savings for the entire year, but will only be available to Nitro, Ranger, and Triton owners. This incentive HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 2025 from January 1st to January 10th, 2025! This is only eligible to teams where the team captain is an owner of a White River Marine Group boat brand. In addition, teams must compete out of the boat they own.
