SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (January 13, 2023) – The incentives for teams fishing the 2023 Texas Team Trail continue to get better and better. New for 2023, teams in a qualified White River Marine Group boat that compete in the Texas Team Trail will have a chance to earn a spot in the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Team Championship scheduled to be held in December of 2023. This new opportunity will give one qualifying team that represents the Texas Team Trail the opportunity to potentially compete for a spot into the 2024 Bassmaster Classic.
“Planning for the 2023 season has been hot and heavy throughout Outdoor TeamWorks, and especially for the Texas Team Trail,” says tournament director Mike Hastings. “We recognize the bass fishing talent in the state of Texas, arguably the best in the country. So, to give our team anglers one more opportunity to take their grass roots career to the biggest stage in professional bass fishing is something we are very proud of”.
At the end of the 2023 Texas Team Trail season the highest finishing team in the season long team of the year race that is a qualified owner of a White River Marine Group boat (Nitro, Ranger, or Triton) will get an invite to fish in the 2023 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Team championship. This is just another great incentive to be an owner of a White River Marine Group bass boat.
