ANNOUNCEMENT: TXTT Increases Payouts in 2025

SPRINGFIELD, MO. (July 9, 2024) – The Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive recently concluded the 2024 season. The season ended with the with a pair of teams winning fully rigged boats as well as other prizes.   The victory at the season ending championship on Toledo Bend went to the Mercury team of anglers Stephen Johnston and Tim Reneau who capped of a solid year with the win by weighing in over 57 pounds for two days. As champions, they walked away with a brand new 2024 Nitro Z-18 powered by a Mercury 150 Pro XS motor.

In addition, the 2024 Progressive Team of the Year team was crowned that weekend and it went to Garmin anglers Brian Schott & Jim Smith. Brian & Jim took home a 2024 Ranger Z-518 with 150 Mercury Pro XS for the title, as well as other prizes and they will be fishing for free in 2025 for winning the Progressive Team of the Year tittle.  The TXTT Progressive Team of Year Program paid out prizes to the top 10 teams in the standings. Just a few of the many perks to the teams can receive for fishing the entire year.

Today, leadership at the TXTT is proud to announce the new payout for 2025. Anglers will see an increase in the payout and a continuation of the popular team of the year payout for top finishing teams.

More details about the 2025 TXTT contingency programs and registration dates will be announced later to include discounted entries for Ranger, Nitro and Triton Boat Owners as well as sharing the Progressive Team of the Year payout that will continue to reward a boat to the top finishing team as well as prizes to 25th place in the overall prize pool.
