Final Day Story Presented by Garmin

Pierre, SD (April 25th, 2025) – After two days of fishing on Lake Sharpe at Event #1 of the 2025 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s National Walleye Tour presented by Progressive, Pro-Angler Robert Crow was able to use his big Day-1 lead to comfortably take home the win with a final total of 26-13 of South Dakota walleye.

“Today did not go as planned,” said the T-H Marine owner. “We showed up to the big fish spot, and they just did not act accordingly. I had to scramble around, and it was much later in the day, but we were able to manage some keepers to give me just enough- but I will admit…..I was really scared I lost this thing when I got back to weigh-in.”

The Washington angler reported catching his fish both randomly casting and looking at them on Garmin LiveScope. The key to his bigger bites yesterday, and his bites today were just rotating through a different number of swimbait style baits to finally get the fish aggressive enough to eat.

“I am not going to say it’s easy or hard, but when you are trying to win one of these tournaments and you know the caliber of angler’s you have behind you, it tested my patience today.”

For the win, Robert takes home $15,000 cash and is the new owner of a 2025 Ranger 620FS boat package. He also took home the $250 T-H Marine Contingency Bonus for owning a T-H Marine Atlas Jackplate on his boat.

In total, he goes back to Washington with $110,190.00 in cash & prizes.

Tom Potts Wins the Lake Sharpe Co-Angler Title

Tom Potts, a Harington, Nebraska Co-Angler, takes home the NWT Event #1 Lake Sharpe win with a two-day total of 28-06.

Tom, who fished with tournament Pro-Angler winner Robert Crow on Day-1, crossed the stage today at SteamBoat Park with a limit of 7-04. This gave him a total of 28-06 which gave him the win by over five pounds.

“Really want to thank my two Pro-Anglers for their hospitality in the boat and making memories that will last a lifetime,” said Potts. “I am definitely thinking about fishing more with the National Walleye Tour, the Co-Angler program is really a neat experience and give the chance for an angler like me to come out and fish with the best walleye anglers in the world and learn some of their tricks and techniques.”

For the win, Tom goes home with $10,000 cash.
