Statement from Outdoor TeamWorks
As a direct result of the violation of tournament rules, Max Wilson and Isaac Lakich were both penalized and fined at the Sault Ste. Marie event that occurred in July. Max Wilson was also fined at the NWT Championship for an additional rule violation that happened after weigh-in on Day 2.
To maintain the highest level of integrity for its events, the NWT has spent a significant amount of time investigating various incidents and will continue to pursue investigations as they arise. Future rules changes will be forthcoming.
