The Sunshine Slam Showdown is coming to Florida!

The Inshore Fishing Association is proud to announce the Bass Pro Shops Sunshine Slam Showdown presented by Progressive is coming to Florida in November of 2025!

 

Registration is now open for the Sunshine Slam Showdown, a catch, photo, release format through the E-tournament fishing app that covers all Florida waters. This open format event allows anglers to fish at anytime in the month of November, out of any location in Florida they choose for a chance to win guaranteed weekly and overall event cash prizes!

Anglers can choose to fish boat, kayak, or shoreline divisions for the largest bag of Redfish, Snook and Trout. Weekly big fish prizes will be awarded to anglers with single longest fish in each species, and an overall guaranteed cash prize will be awarded to anglers in multiple categories.

  • Grand Slam winner (per division) will be determined by the combined total length of each participant’s longest single Redfish, longest single Speckled Sea Trout, and longest single Snook.

  • Grand Champion winner (across all divisions) will be determined by the combined total length of each participant’s longest single Redfish, longest singleSpeckled Sea Trout, and longest single Snook.

Participants can register and fish at any point during the month of November and be qualified to win the weekly or overall tournament prizes.

This month long event will be a Catch-Record-Release format utilizing the E-Tournament Fishing App, introduced for the first time last year into the IFA event format. Judging of the tournament will be based on anglers submitting the largest Redfish, Snook, and Speckled Trout.

Entry fees for the event will be $100 for the boat division, $50 for the Kayak division, and $25 for the shoreline division. Anglers can register in multiple divisions, but each catch can only be submitted once per division.

 

Event registration closes on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM ET.
