SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (May 24, 2023) – The 2023 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive Championship event on Choke Canyon Reservoir is just a little over a week away. The top-75 teams in 2023 Progressive Team of the Year points are qualified for the event and was sent a private link to register. Only qualified team may register for this event. If for any reason the link was not received qualified teams must call the office to solidify their spot into the event and pay their entry fee. The deadline to do so is this coming Friday, May 26th by 3:00pm CST. Teams who have not called the office and registered for the Championship will forfeit their position.
Off-Limits
The off-limits period for the Championship event on Choke Canyon Reservoir is the week of the event, excluding Thursday and Friday prior to the event, ONLY FOR TEAMS WHO HAVE PAID THEIR ENTRY FEE PRIOR TO THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
Per 2023 Texas Team Trail rules:
Championship allowed designated practice days are Thursday and Friday prior to the event, ONLY for qualified anglers registered and paid before the deadline date of 3pm Friday the week before the event (8 days before the first tournament day). Anglers missing this registration deadline will forfeit your spot and we will proceed down the list starting with 76th place to fill the field. For 76th place on down once notified you are in, the same practice rules listed above will apply. You MUST be registered and paid online or by phone BEFORE you get on the water or are allowed to practice Thursday or Friday.
Tournament waters go back off-limit following on-site registration from 6:00 pm Friday evening June 2nd until takeoff the morning of the tournament. Anglers may not be on the water for any reason after 6pm on Friday June 2nd
Official Practice Dates: June 1st & 2nd, only if team is paid by Friday, May 26th
Off-Limits Period: May 29th-31st
