SPRINGFIELD, MO. (March 8, 2024) – The second event of the 2024 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive season on Sam Rayburn Reservoir is just TWO WEEKS AWAY, and registration is still open! Teams fishing in this event will be competing for over in cash and prizes, which will include a 2024 Nitro Z-18 with Mercury 150 Pro XS package. In addition to the cash and prizes at stop number two of the regular season valuable points towards the season ending championship at Toledo Bend and for the Progressive Team of the Year will be awarded.
After the first event, TXTT team anglers Casey Burleigh & Josh Rodgers took home the top prize after weighing in a five bass limit worth 29.14. For their efforts, they walked away with $54,904 in cash and prizes, including a 2024 Ranger Z-518 with Mercury 150 Pro XS motor.
Over 230 teams competed in the first event of the year and the current Top-10 in Progressive Team of the Year Standings can be found here. At the end of the regular season, the top seventy-five teams will move on to compete at the championship on Toledo Bend June 8-9th where two White River Marine Group boat packages will be awarded, one to the championship winning team and the other to the 2024 Progressive Team of the Year. In addition, the Top-25 teams in the Progressive Team of the Year standings will win prizes based on the payout attached.
