SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (March 8, 2023) – The 2023 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s National Walleye Tour (NWT) presented by Progressive is coming up quick and entry fees on the Pro- side are due FRIDAY, MARCH 10th by end of business hours.
Pro- Anglers who are still pending will need to pay their balance by paying online or calling the NWT office. Anglers who are mailing their entry fees will need to make sure their checks are delivered into the office’s hands by end of business hours on Friday, March 10th. 2023 has seen a record turn out in co-angler entries into the season. It is important that Pro- Anglers register quickly to lock in their spot into the field.
2023 National Walleye Tour Schedule:
- March 21-22 – Spring Valley, IL | Illinois River
- May 17-18 – Oshkosh, WI | Lake Winnebago
- June 22-23 – Pickstown, SD | Lake Francis Case
- July 27-28 – Sault Ste Marie, MI | St. Mary’s River
- September 6-8 – Devil’s Lake, ND | Devil’s Lake (CHAMPIONSHIP)
In 2023 Pro-Anglers winners at each event could walk away with more than $100,000 in cash, prizes, and contingency bonuses based on a 125-boat field. Pro-Angler winners of each regular season 2023 event and the 2023 championship winner will win cash and a boat, motor, & trailer package and all NWT qualifying events for 2023 already have more than 125 co-anglers pre-registered hoping to draw YOU as their Pro!
Additionally Pro- and Co- Angler winners of each event will automatically qualify for the 2023 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s National Walleye Tour presented by Progressive CHAMPIONSHIP if they have fished all four regular season events.

New for the 2023 National Walleye Tour is the Pro-Angler of the Year presented by Progressive Insurance. The winner of the Pro-Angler of the year will win a 2023 Ranger 620FS w/ Mercury PRO XS 250hp motor valued at $89,995. This will be awarded at the conclusion of championship held on Devil’s Lake which will feature the top 40 pro- and top 40 co-anglers. All anglers competing this season are also encouraged to review and sign up for all the various contingency and anglers advantage programs available to them.
