SPRINGFIELD, MO. (March 29, 2024) – The 2024 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive regular season is already halfway over. After the first two events the team of Joshua Rodgers & Casey Burleigh are at the top of the standings for the Progressive Team of the Year title.
Ranger Boats owner Rodgers & Burleigh won the first tournament of the year in challenging conditions after weighing-in a five bass limit that tipped the scales at 29-14 pounds. For the victory, the team took home over $54,000 in cash and prizes, including a 2024 Ranger Z-18 powered by a Mercury 150 Pro XS. They followed that win up with a Top-10 finish at the second TXTT tournament last week with another impressive five-bass limit weighing in at 22-05 pounds.

The next TXTT event is at Lake Fork in Yantis, TX on April 13th. Teams will be fishing for over $50,000 in cash and prizes. The winning team will take home a package including a 2024 Ranger Z-518 with a Mercury 150 Pro XS, Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 73SV + Transducer unit, Power-Pole CHARGE system, plus additional contingencies, and Angler’s Advantage side-pot option. Based on a 225 boat field, the guaranteed prize purse will amount to $94,750!
